Just wanted to say how much my girls (Emily and Imogen) enjoyed the "Pirate's Day" on Thursday 23rd June. A big big thank you to Helen Clues for all her hard work. It was brilliant to see all the children in the school, in the huge pirate ship in the hall. It was just like a scene out of the film "Goonies".

Hi all, I used to live at 137 Cromwell Lane, and went to Burton Green from about 71 to 76 when I passed the King Henry VIII entrance exam. I too remember Mrs Boardman, Mrs Burgess, and very fondly Sam Bentley, who set me up with a lifelong basis in maths & english, and was a kind & superb teacher. Kind regards, Andy

I am a former pupil of Burton Green and I had been there since reception. I am so glad that I went to Burton Green, because I met lots of wonderful people there. I really miss the school and hope to visit soon to see my buddy and teachers! I miss Mrs Villiers and Mrs Jennings lots, as they have been awesome teachers. Good luck Mrs J as acting head

Since i started this school every day of the week has always been bright, bubbly kind and friendly.
I am so sad im leaving this school but there will always be a part in my heart which will bring back the memories of this school. This school may be small
but it has a big heart.

We both spent all of our primary school years at this school and it will be very sad and a great loss when Mrs Clarke leaves. All the best in your new job and Thanks for everything.

I was a pupil here in the seventies. My mum and aunt were also pupils. Headteacher at the time was Mr Bentley. Also Mrs Boardman, Mrs Burgess and Mrs Benfield. I still live in the area and am very proud to have attended such a special school.

I was a pupil at Burton Green from 1980-1986. I had a great time there. If anyone stumbles across this thread who is interested in finding old friends Craig Neilson has started a Facebook Group for ex Burton Greenies. Search facebook for group 'Burton Green Old Skool' (yes that's how he spelt it! We can blame Brian Jones for that I guess)

I just stumbled across this site while feeling nostalgic about my old school. I cant believe it has been nearly 20 years since I was there. It feels like yesterday.
This is a school that I would whole heartedly recommend to anyone. My brothers, and myself spent many enjoyable years at this school and it certainly left a lasting impression on how to treat people and how to get the most out of life. I have kept in touch with all of my teachers from here and all still seem to take an honest interest in our growth even after such a long time. this was honestly one of the best times in my life and now I am pleased to say my nephew will have the pleasure to enjoy his generation as well.
Thank you

Burton Green was my junior school and it was honestly the best place in the world, i cannot think of a better place to grow up. If anyone is unsure of choosing this quiet gorgeous school for their kids, you should be reassured that you would not be disappointed in the slightest. Much love for everyone there.
Cool website by the way...

Emily and Imogen's mum from Class 1.

Really enjoyed the Music Showcase Assembly this morning. What great future talent the school has. I know my girls really enoyed practising and the actual event. I particularly enjoyed all the singing which was both funny and lovely to listen to.

I was just browsing through google and clicked on to my first school! I spent fun years there during the War from 1940 to 1943 when Miss Gibbs & Miss Banks were the teachers. It is pleasing to see that it is still going strong.
